Sandy Hamm Horses, Horse sales, horse training in Northwest Arkansas
Sandy Hamm Horses mid south Horse Sales

The ex-race horses on this page have rested then started slowly until confident and ready to begin their next career. They are regularly trail ridden and used to check cattle on our 150 acre farm. We train in an arena with natural sandy loam footing, a grass turf jump field and a large meadow with ditches, mud, tall grass and uneven terrain. I would never market an off-the-track horse that I would not feel completely safe riding and showing myself. You can watch the training progress of each horse by liking our facebook page. My thoroughbreds are quality prospects ready to begin and excel at their new career in hunting, jumping and dressage. Prices range from $3500-$6500.

Sheer Velocity
8 Yr QH Gelding

Dale is a 16.1H gorgeous chestnut. See his sire, Okey Dokey Dale, here. He was on the race track for a very short time then turned out to grow. He has been in training for 2 years. Dale has an amazing jump and trot. He has been started over low fences, light dressage training and is ready to begin the career of your choice. Dale is very kind, willing and uncomplicated to ride. He didn't race long and is sound without vices. Sheer Velocity is an athletic prospect for eventing, or the hunter ring. He has completed 2 professional riding clinics in 2013 and one in 2014. Honor - 3 year old bright bay gelding bred for distance & speed! A great great grandson of Secretariat.
